Previously unreleased material from her letters and manuscripts in the files of the Ellen G. White Estate.
When Ellen White died, she left thousands of pages of personal letters, diary material, sermons, and articles that supplemented topics treated in her published writings. She left these materials in the custody of designated trustees with the expectation that they might be of value in the future as the church faced new and complex challenges.
Every year since 1941, previously unpublished material has been released by the trustees as requested by church leaders, doctoral students, seminary students, and others who have researched in the manuscript files as they prepared books, articles, class lectures, sermons, and research papers. These manuscript releases have now been published for the church as a whole, in the order in which they were originally released. They cover a wide range of subjects–from biblical commentary and devotional items to counsels regarding family life or the management of institutions. Each volume is approximately 400 pages.
